NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139... is an upgraded version of NieR Replicant and has been set for release next year on 23rd April 2021.
The storyline takes place long before Automata and sets to be a prequel for the series and the teaser trailer was just previewed during this year's Tokyo Game Show.
In a statement on Sony PlayStation blog from Producer Yoko Taro:
“We planned for this title to align with NieR’s 10th anniversary, and we tried our darndest to release it during the 10th anniversary.
Well, we didn’t make it in time!!
But, because of that, I believe that it has turned out to be that much better. I hope you are excited for it.”
A white snow edition was announced by Square Enix which will include a Mini Digital Soundtrack and a wallpaper collection for pre-order.
